Updated Fishing Report

Jun 23, 2011

The fishing has been as good as it gets on the outgoing tide for Striped Bass. Fish are all big and hungry, live bait seems to be the ticket. We have been getting keepers on every drift, now is the time to get out there and for these Stripers, as the waters warm up things will change. The Cod/Haddock fishing has also been really good on the trips we have taken out to the Ledge. They're biting very well when the water is flowing. Dogfish (Shhhh) still haven't been a problem and hopefully they won't. There are numberous reports of Bluefin Tuna sightings up this way. As soon as they take up residence we will begin targeting them. I have a list of Tuna anglers waiting to hear from me, if you are interested in a Tuna trip please send me an email and I will let you know when they are here in good numbers. No word on any sharks yet other than the occasional Porbeagle chasing up the hooked Codfish. Will try to stay on top of fishing reports for rest of season.
