Captain Mauro DiBacco
Capt. Mauro DiBacco has been fishing the local waters from Maine to Cape Cod for the past twenty years. Targeting all 
offshore and inshore species such as Striped Bass, Bluefish, Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Shark species including Blue Sharks, Mako Sharks and Thresher Sharks and Tuna including Giant Bluefin Tuna and also School Bluefin Tuna which I target many different ways from trolling squid rigs, jigging while adrift, casting top water lures or live lining, to me it’s all about the sport.
Being a member of The Northeast Charterboat Captain’s Association and, NACO as well as the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce helps to obtain the local knowledge of where to fish my next day out. It’s not only about what you do on the water but also the intel you gather on land the day or days before your fishing trip that makes the difference.
It’s the love of being out on the water that does it for me. Whether its taking children Mackeral Fishing or Striped Bass Fishing, fishing in tournaments or fishing commercially, there is no better place to be.
